 The Kona Reef is located close to the center of Kona. While away from the hubbub of activity, it's an easy walk fom the condo, along the waterfront to shopping and restaurants. Fresh produce, flowers, and macademia nuts are available at the nearby farmers' market. The Kona Airport is about 7 miles away. Kahalu'u Beach Park, one of the best snorkeling areas in Hawaii, is just a few miles from the condo.
A large oceanfront pool, Jacuzzi, and chaise lounge area makes the Kona Reef a relaxing place to stay. Three gas-fired barbecues provide a great place to cook dinner, which you can eat at the tables and chairs in the barbecue area or take back to your private lanai (patio.)
Unit D-3 at the Kona Reef 
is an absolutely oceanfront, fully furnished non smoking one-bedroom condo with a complete kitchen. Most of the bedding, furnishings, kitchen items, and appliances have been purchased within the last year. The unit has air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans. The kitchen includes a refrigerator with icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, stove, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and a wide assortment of cooking  utensils and pots  and pans. The bedroom includes plenty of storage space, a new queen mattress, and a TV. The bath room has a full-size tub and lots of extra large towels. The living room has a 27" flat screen TV, a DVD player, a VCR, videos, DVDs, books, CD player, and puzzles. It also has a full-size futon with comfy 8" thick mattress and bedding. There is a washer/dryer and a phone answering machine in the unit. Local calls (throughout the Big Island), as well as 800 numbers, are free. Beach towels and mats, beach chairs, a boogie board, and ice chests are available for your use.
